-

-
-
- 1.6.2 - LaunchNext bug fixes
-

-
- - A few other bug fixes.
-
-
- 1.6.1 - Fixes Tabby log entries.
-
- 1.6 - General maintenance release.
-
- The Program Linking can now be remembered. This is useful for
- sysops who want to run Suzie on a difference machine than
- User Manager. By default Suzie looks for a running version of
- User Manager on the local machine.
-
- LaunchNext bug fixes
-
- Fixes the AppleEvents which weren't working in 1.5.1.
-
-
- 1.5.1 - Fixes a bug that occured with Applescript.
-
- 1.5 - This version REQUIRES System 7 and User Manager 3.0 or
- later. Suzie 1.5 uses System 7 IAC to communicate with
- User Manager. As a result, all changes to the TeleUsers
- file are done by User Manager, and not Suzie.
- What does this mean? Well, Suzie is a bit slower. But that's
- okay, because now Suzie can run at ANY time. It's perferctly
- normal for your BBS to be up and running when Suzie is doing
- the processing. In fact, people can be logging onto your
- BBS at the same time. Suzie won't have any problems.
- Because of this new versatility, I added a new Mode of
- operation. It's called Schedule, and using it you can setup
- Suzie to run during specific timed intervals. See the
- 'Mode' dialog box under the Settings menu.
- When Suzie runs, it will look for User Manager automatically.
- You can override this capability by using the "Link to
- User Manager" option in the file menu. This means that
- Suzie can work over a network if you wish it be so.
- Because Group Host Edition has an autoregistration feature,
- the Import users capability has been removed from Suzie. It's
- simply no longer needed. If you need to import a text file,
- use the capability built into User Manager.
-
- Now stamps each file with the date and time at
- the end.
-
- Now recognizes the "Permanent User" flag that Spider Island put into
- User Manager. This flag is sort of a "hands off" flag. If you check
- it for a user, Suzie will NOT make ANY changes to that record.
-
- Users in the "Unlisted Users" file will no longer appear in the
- Freeloaders file.
-
- Adds a new report. "Membership List".
- - Lists ALL users regardless of what file they're in.
- - TAB delimited fields
- - name, phone, access group, time allowed, logins per day, and date
- of last login.
-
- Fixed a bug that causes Suzie to sometimes fail to create certain
- stat files.
-
- Now uses international strings, so for global users,
- the date will be in the correct format. International users may want to
- modify the strings in Suzie's prefs file.
-
- If the user has never logged on, "Never" is printed in the date.
- This string can be changed via STR 583.
-
- The final timestamp prints out the date and time wording, rather
- than just numbers.
-
- If Suzie can't link to a user manager when it tries to process,
- it will beep and do nothing.
-
-
-
- 1.0.1 - If "Stop" button is hit, the "New Users" file is no longer
- deleted.
-
- The Stop button in the status window now responds to a
- Command-period cancel.
-
- Fixed the filling of the status bar for small user files.
-
- Fixed writing to the Tabby log. The first character after
- the date and time was being garbled.
-
- Improved the speed and appearance of items that are dimmed
- in the dialogs. Edit text items are now REALLY disabled
- so they can't be edited when the corresponding check box is
- turned off.
-
- 1.0 - Initial release.
